We've been busy around here. Brie was in California 7/19-22. She goes to Alaska at the end of this month and then back to California in September. My trip to Georgia to move my Mom got cancelled in July, but I am suppose to go this weekend instead. Adding to that Brie came home from California and promptly developed bronchitis which she is still taking antibiotics for. This weekend Zoe stopped eating and hasn't had anything but water since Saturday morning. If she hasn't passed the rope toy we think she swallowed by 6 o'clock tonight we are going to have to get her down to the Vet for x-rays. With all that we also continue to go to Gymnastics every Tuesday and Storytime at the Library every Wednesday.
It became very obvious to Brie and I this weekend that joining the YMCA is probably something we will never do. There just aren't enough hours in the day for Brie to go workout and past experience has shown us that Brie is far more likely to get consistent use out of a health club than I am. So now we need to start saving up for a TreadClimber by Nautilus. We originally were going to go that route, but since are credit won't currently encourage anyone to extend us a creditline we had decided the YMCA was our only real choice.
It's August already! That means back to school will be upon us soon. As you can see by the King's Dominion pictures the kids are growing up fast. I honestly think Maddy could start Kindergarten this year. Sebastian is changing so much. He is becoming so much more open to trying something new in some areas. His eating habits have greatly changed. He loves steak and had a home made pork burrito on Friday which he kept telling me was "sooo delicious". Of course, vegetables are still pretty much a no-go, just carrots and corn. Maddy is really excelling at Gymnastics, she is so flexible and strong. She can get herself up into a handstand on the wall now and flings herself into somersaults. Keegan is enjoying Gymnastics, but he is having a lot of problems following instructions and is really hard on himself when he doesn't succeed on the first try. He has already began have outbursts about going back to school. His only problem he says is that he knows he won't be able to play video games during the week again. We are going to start weening him off them now to make it easier.
That's about all I can think of right now. It's been one of the (if not the) rainiest summers ever. Last I saw we had had over 10 inches of rain in July and it was still raining. Today is another hot and rainy day as well. oye!
